February 2017 Zone Conference in Northumberland

We have been in zone conferences three days this month.  It is always wonderful to be with the missionaries in this way.  There is an excitement and abundance of the spirit that is just hard to match anywhere!  President Johnson did a training on the standards of baptism, another on virtuous thoughts and seeking to become virtuous, a review and answering the questions on the schedule changes, and the importance of not comparing ourselves with others. Sister Johnson lead a discussion on the recent Worldwide Missionary broadcast.  Elder and Sister Christensen taught us simple things we can do to lower stress levels.  Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders conducted trainings for their zones on Preach My Gospel Planning.  We were also inspired and uplifted by many who shared musical talents and testimonies of departing missionaries.
